Thank you for your interest in Coast Imports, a wholesale business bringing you coastal and nautical treasures from around the world. We offer unique designs plus source one-of-a-kind, vintage items.

Coast Imports Stockists agree to the following Terms and Conditions: 

  1. All prices are in AUD (Australian Dollars).
  2. Application approval may depend on – but not be limited to – the applicant’s proximity to other Coast Import Stockists.
  3. An application must be approved/activated before an initial orders.
  4. All orders must:
  • be paid in full prior to picking, and/or shipping;
  • if making a bank transfer, orders must be paid with 3-days of being invoiced;
  • meet our minimum order value for its destination. (See FAQs below. Amount subject to change without notice.)
  • be placed by the Stockist via our website, i.e., phone orders are not accepted.

5. Stockists must not:

  • provide Coast Import login details to other parties;
  • divulge Coast Import prices to other parties;
  • reproduce Coast Import products;
  • use Coast Import images and/or marketing material for the purpose of promotion, including social media, without the written consent of Coast Imports. 

6.  Prices are subject to change without notice.

7.  Coast Imports may withdraw a Stockist’s account without notice.

8.  All items are sold as-is. They may have flaws, colour differences, and/or signs of wear; these are not defects. Our photographs form part of the items’ descriptions.

9.  The Risk of Goods passes to the stockiest on delivery to the address specified on the Order Form. Goods may be left at that address without signature. Coast Imports is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to Goods after delivery.

10.  International orders that attract local charges or import taxes are the responsibility of the Stockist.

11.  The Stockist agrees to advise Coast Imports in writing of any change of business ownership and/or change of business address.

12.  Accounts inactive for 12 months or more may be deactivated. If deactivated, the Stockist must immediately cease using, and remove, any approved Coast Imports images and/or marketing material. The Stockist may need to reapply for an account.  

 

Frequently Asked Questions

How may I see wholesale prices?
To view our wholesale prices and purchase from Coast Imports you must first apply at 
www.coastimports.com.au. Once your account is approved, we will provide you with a username and password. 

Do your prices include GST?
Product prices exclude GST.  However, your invoice will have GST applied. 

What is the minimum order value?
The minimum order value is $500 (ex GST).  

Are there recommended retail prices?
As each market differs, we do not provide recommended retail prices. 

How long does it take to pick and ship my wholesale order? 
We aim to ship in around 2-3 business days. Whilst rare, during very busy periods this may take up to 7 business days.

How much is shipping and how is it calculated?
Shipping is calculated and charged after your order is packed, based on what products we are able to fulfil, the cubic size, weight, and destination of the order. Your credit card will be charge with this amount. Shipping must be paid in full prior to dispatch.

Large and/or very fragile items may incur additional packing and handling charges. 

Can I choose the service to deliver my order?
You are able to choose a shipping method when checking out, however some areas may not be reached via courier, or the shipping cost is prohibitive. Therefore, we reserve the right to alter the shipping method.

Within Australia, items are shipped via a courier company, or Australia post. 

Can I organise my own shipping?
We do not recommend that you organise your own shipping. We use companies that are familiar with the fragility of our items and have a long-standing relationship with Coast Imports. However, should you wish to organise your own shipping, please note that your representative is responsible for pick up at our agreed time, and all suitable packaging of, loading, transporting of, any insurance, and communication with you regarding the item once it has left our door. 

Can I pick up my order from your Noosaville warehouse?
You can! Simply leave a note at checkout that confirms your pickup day and time, and pick up within 3 days of your order.

Can I track my order/s?
Yes. Once the order has left our warehouse, we will provide you with a consignment number. Please be aware that this may be multiple numbers if we are shipping many parcels to you. If you have any questions regarding the status of, or tracking your order, please email hello@coastimports.com.au

I have entered my delivery address incorrectly – can this be redirected after the order has dispatched? 
Should this occur, Coast Imports will do all we can to have your order redirected. However, this may not be possible once it has left our warehouse. Any additional charges due to an address error are the responsibility of the Stockist.

I have changed my mind / the product is not selling in my store. Can I return it?
We are sorry but we do not offer returns, or exchanges. 

I have received my order and something is missing - what do I do?

Please notify us straight away so we can check our stock and invoices to confirm if it was shipped. We must be contacted with 7 days of your item’s delivery, whether that be to your business, or local Post Office, or other location. Failure to contact us in this timeframe may mean we cannot assist you.

I have received my order and it is damaged – what do I do?
Should we agree that your product has been damaged during transit, we will credit your Coast Imports account.

While we pack all items with the utmost care, at rare times an item may be damaged in transit. If your order is received damaged, please:

  • Take detailed photos of the external packaging (this may aid an insurance claims)
  • Take detailed photos of the damaged item
  • Email photos and your order details to hello@coastimports.com.au

We must be contacted with 7 days of your item’s delivery, whether that be to your business, or local Post Office, or other location. Failure to contact us in this timeframe may mean we cannot assist you.

One last note about our products:
You may find flaws and varying signs of wear in our vintage items, even in very similar items are the same age. 

Many items are hand-cast and/or treated with a chemical process that provides different colours and finishes from product-to-product, and even from shipment-to-shipment. (For example, a brass item may be very shiny, while another may be dull. ‘Aged’ brass items may be more, or less green-tinted in the same batch. This green-tint may vary towards a light tan. Wooden items will vary in shape and colour.)

Items described on our website are usually photographed in ‘natural’ light. Please note that photographs of items displayed in-store may show colours and sizes differently to the item listing (for example, a light shade may look a different colour or height)

Please note that:

  • differing patina and producers’ marks are not defects;
  • dimensions provided in item descriptions are appropriate only;
  • our photographs of vintage items form part of the items’ descriptions;
  • all items are sold as-is.
